1 Timothy 4:12 NLT don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity.

Who inspired you to write this blog?

I was inspired by many people, some of which are my sister, my two wonderful mentors, school teachers and close friends. Furthermore, I know it sounds cliché, but God was my number one motivation for writing Little Big Movement. I had (and still have) this burning passion within me that wants other people of our generation to know that just because you are young, does not mean you have to wait until you start a  full time career to start achieving what God has instilled upon your heart, and start achieving your dreams.

What are you wanting to communicate through this blog?

The main point I’m trying to communicate through Little Big Movement is what 1 Timothy 4:12 puts perfectly, “don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity.” I want people that read this blog to firstly recognize  the amazing potential that they have, believe in the amazing potential they have, take hold of what God has instilled upon your heart, and then go and change the world with your calling. I’m wanting to convey a place through Little Big Movement that young leaders can come to to read, be empowered, and live out the knowledge they obtain through to their everyday life.

Where did you get the name Little Big Movement?

I was tossing and turning over the name of this blog for days, but finally came to the decision of Little Big Movement.
The meaning of this name is made up of two parts; Little, meaning we’re the younger generation of this world, and Big Movement, because we are moving into the future of this generation together to one day shape the following generations.

When did you decide that you wanted to create Little Big Movement?

Blogging was something that, weirdly enough, I was interested in since I was a little girl. I had always thought about how cool it would be to so easily have a place where I could talk about my own thoughts and opinions, but be able to share it with a huge crowd that I could empower and inspire. I had forgotten about my dreams of making a blog for a couple of years, but just last year (2012), blogging randomly popped into my thoughts again when I started asking God about what the next step was for me in my faith journey. A year later, and here I am.

Why do you believe Little Big Movement is important for you to write?

There are two main reasons that I created Little Big Movement. The first and foremost reason would have to be because I believe that it is so important to get the message out there to teens that you have HUGE potential, and have the ability to change the world in ways you never would have imagined possible. My second reason is that, being a Christian teen with a passion for teen leadership, what perfect way to get that message across then from teen-to-teen?
